We bring science closer to the CRAEs
The IMSE research group (Social Impact and Education), formerly known as "Educational Research Methodology with Social Impact (MEDIS)" from the Universitat Rovira i Virgili, leads the project Extended Learning Time III: Contributing to generating scientific vocations in Foster Care Centers. The project aims to expand science learning spaces and promote the development of scientific vocations in the most vulnerable children and adolescents in society, those who are under guardianship and reside in a Residential Educational Action Center (CRAE).

On Thursday, February 18th, from 10am to 12pm in virtual format, the final conference of the project titled Detection of actions to improve the management of religious diversity in the Catalan labor environment will take place. The project is funded by the Directorate-General for Religious Affairs of the Government of Catalonia.

Recently, the study: Impact of the extension of learning time on the learning space of the platform for people affected by mortgages Tarragona was published in the journal Learning, Culture and Social Interaction, with two members of the IMSE group (formerly MEDIS), Carme Garcia Yeste and Oriol Ríos González, participating.

Detection of Actions to Improve the Management of Religious Diversity in the Catalan Labor Environment
On December 5th, the advisory board of the project "Detection of Actions to Improve the Management of Religious Diversity in the Catalan Labor Environment" met for the second time. The project is funded by the Directorate-General for Religious Affairs (Government of Catalonia) and led by Dr. Carme Garcia-Yeste, a member of the IMSE group (formerly MEDIS). The aim of this meeting was to analyze the first results obtained and the future tasks to be developed. The main goal of the project is to find mechanisms to improve the situation in the workplace for women who wear the Islamic veil (hijab).
