Social impact of the project Use of communicative methodology to develop a "map of opportunities" in the Mbour area of Senegal.
IMSE-URV has led a project, funded by URV Solidària, in collaboration with the Diocesan Delegation of Migrations of Senegal (DDM), aimed at conducting comprehensive research on the causes and consequences of irregular migration among Senegalese youth.
After a year of intensive research and analysis, the main responsibilities for this issue have been identified, along with concrete solutions to address and improve it. These proposals are outlined in the "Map of Opportunities" for youth. This map was presented and handed out to hundreds of young people during the Southern Senegal Regional Tour held last February by DDM.
