Participation in the BERA Conference and WERA Focal Meeting in Manchester
The IMSE research group participated in the BERA Conference and WERA Focal Meeting, jointly organized by the British Educational Research Association (BERA) and the World Education Research Association (WERA). This was a special conference as it celebrated the 50th anniversary of BERA and the 15th anniversary of WERA. In this case, we gathered and had the opportunity to engage in dialogue in Manchester with colleagues from all over the world.
Specifically, the IMSE team participated in the presentation of two communications. On one hand, Impact of preventive Socialization of Gender-based Violence to promote a school culture of Zero Violence. The presentation highlighted the newly generated scientific knowledge related to the prevention of violence in schools and high schools, based on the results obtained from the SAFE project (Impact of "Bystander Intervention" for a school culture overcoming gender violence).
On the other hand, we also presented the latest findings related to second language learning in the context of the successful educational action: Interactive Groups.
