Participation in CIMIE24: "Science, Education, and Cultural Dialogues: Closing Gaps, Building Bridges"

Once again, members of the IMSE research group participated in the 11th Multidisciplinary Conference on Educational Research (CIMIE). This year, the conference was held in Granada on July 4th and 5th, 2024.

The group's participation was active, with the presentation of three communications. Among them, we highlight the communication: Impact of bystander intervention to prevent gender-based violence from the school context, in which the preliminary results of the SAFE project (more information), led by Dr. Carme Garcia-Yeste, were presented.

The IMSE team also had a prominent participation in three panels:

  1. Janaina Minelli, in the field of educational psychology, participated in the panel "Educational interventions and interpersonal relationships that protect mental health", with a significant contribution to suicide prevention.

  2. Silvia Molina participated in the panel "Open inclusive practices: the participation of co-teachers and volunteers in the classroom", presenting all the research conducted on the inclusion of all students.

  3. Mar Joanpere participated in the panel "Excellence in University Teaching and Research", highlighting the relevance of scientific evidence in teaching.

With this active participation of the IMSE group, its commitment to this high-impact scientific and social conference is demonstrated.
