Oriol Ríos' Research Stay at the Teachers College of Columbia University
IMSE researcher Dr. Oriol Rios carried out a research stay at Teachers College at Columbia University, New York, during the months of June, July, and August 2024, funded by the program Research stays for senior academic and/or research staff in foreign institutions from the Ministry of Science, Innovation and Universities of the Government of Spain. Columbia University ranks 8th in the Shanghai University Rankings, and Teachers College is one of the most historically prestigious faculties for teacher training. During his stay, Dr. Rios focused on deepening the mechanisms for preventing harassment and violence suffered by the LGBTIQ+ community in educational contexts.
