URV Teaching Innovation Conference 2022
On March 29th, the URV Teaching Innovation Conference 2022 was held, organized by the Institute of Educational Sciences of the URV. It took place at the Campus Catalunya of the URV, and partial results of the INDOC 21-22 projects were presented.
The conference consisted of an opening session, conducted by Dr. Ernest Pons from the University of Barcelona, titled "The Challenges of Educational Transformation in Universities." Following this, simultaneous sessions were held in different classrooms at the Campus Catalunya, where members of the MEDIS research group attended and presented the different projects and research they are working on. On one hand, Dr. Oriol Ríos presented the integration of gender perspective into the initial training of education professionals, Dr. Regina Gairal presented the project EXIMED: Educational Excellence with Social Impact in Education Degrees: Bridging Theory and Practice in Volunteering Network Participation, and on the other hand, Dr. Janaina Minelli presented teacher training and the impact of self-awareness on the development of critical thinking.
The main objective of the conference was to showcase the results of good teaching practice projects and methodological initiatives applied to university education.
The session was closed by the Vice-Rector for Institutional Relations, Culture and Social Commitment, Misericòrdia Camps Llauradó, and the Vice-Rector for Students and Employability, Maria Bonet Donato.
