Conference on Isolating Gender Violence (Monday 20, 16-21h CET)

Today we inform you of a virtual and open event next Monday of international impact, essential to all types of people and representatives (university faculty, students, non-university faculty, policy makers, educational communities and citizens in general) who dream day by day for a world free of Gender-based Violence.

Registration for Monday 16-21h CET: https://forms.gle/dejwMVN1Fxv94Txj8

Our Up4Diversity Training Materials, and the National Training Workshops that we will start in January, take into account this key concept of Isolating Gender Violence (IGV): it is the violence of aggressors towards those who defend victims in order to disencourage their intervention, to leave victims alone. IGV is a reality that affects all kinds of institutions and social contexts, preventing the active positioning of more and more people against Gender Violence.

It is essential to address this issue and find ways to protect defenders to end gender violence, because otherwise there will be less upstanders and more violence. This will be an excellent meeting on Isolating Gender Violence with expert speakers from different fields (research, politics, social media, social entities, etc.). Feel free to share this opportunity with your institutions and networks!
