We present the analysis of implementation and impacts at CICFEM24
A month ago, we had the pleasure of participating in the 6th International Congress on Science, Feminism and Masculinities (CICFEM24), where a paper on the analysis of the implementation and impacts of the SAFE project was accepted.
In a congress so closely connected to our project on eradicating gender-based violence through scientific evidence, our colleague Silvia Molina presented a study carried out with Sara Carbonell, Elsa Cerviño, Laura Natividad, Regina Gairal, and Carme García, all members of the SAFE team. The presentation was titled: "Prevention of gender-based violence in the school context through the Dialogic Model of Prevention and Conflict Resolution: analysis of implementation and impacts."
While in the previous edition, CICFEM23, we presented a state of the art, at CICFEM24 we shared the first results. Over three years, primary and secondary schools implementing the dialogic model are being analyzed to better understand both its impact on the prevention, reduction, or overcoming of gender-based violence and the characteristics of its implementation that contribute to these impacts. The initial analysis of the implementation process was based on communicative accounts with key informants. The analysis of these narratives has made it possible to identify the main motivations for implementing the model, the factors that facilitated its application, and the impacts achieved.
We will continue working together with educational centers to publish the results in high-impact scientific journals.
